TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tucson Airport

This hotel is older but it was quiet the entire 5-day stay, so it was comfortable. It was convenient to have a full size fridge and microwave in the room as well. Front desk staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the complimentary breakfast was not delicious.

For a 3-star hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the TownePlace Suites Tucson Airport. The location was very handy for the airport (plane spotting and photography) as well as many fast-food options for dining. Arriving well before the listed check-in time, we asked if there was any chance we could check in early or at least leave our luggage, as it was a very hot day and we didn't want to leave things in our car. The reception clerk was very accommodating and helpful, finding us a room that was clean and ready for guests. We got a great end of hall room on the top floor, so it was lovely and quiet. We so appreciated being allowed to check in early, and she also provided us a list of dining options in Tucson and gave us some bottles of water to drink while out plane spotting. Our room was spacious and very well appointed, with a full size fridge, 2-burner cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and dishes/cutlery/pans, etc. The workspace was immense and the handy ottoman table top could be repurposed for eating in bed. We had a nice view over the pool, and there was a small basketball court/hoop outside as well. Breakfast was advertised on the website as a continental breakfast, but to our great delight, there were also hot food options each day - eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and waffles. The breakfast area was clean and bright and comfortable. A coffee and tea station was available day and night for guests. I popped downstairs one evening to get tea for myself and my husband, but couldn't find any milk. The receptionist happily went into the kitchen and gave me a small bottle of milk to take to the room, and also provided me with some travel-size body lotion when I realized I had forgotten to bring my own. The staff at this hotel made our experience that much better - whether it was reception staff, cleaning staff or maintenance workers - everyone was very cheerful and polite and helpful. If you need to stay near the airport or NAFRI this is a the best of the Marriots. First of all the service is excellent. Meagan helped speak to the booking agent to adjust a booking flaw then was very helpful upon arrival. Mary was also very helpful and helped me with some checkout leniency. The great service coupled with the free breakfast and washing machines (not available at the Courtyard Marriot) were much appreciated perks. Plus i saw but did not utilize a bunch of other extended stay perks like crockpots and such. For an extended stay that I was going to stay near the airport this would my choice in Tucson.

We didn’t stay here personally but my father-in-law did, and he came here after leaving another Marriott property over on Grant. He loved it. His only issue was the internet/roku, which we determined was his old iPhone and user error both. I actually got it all working myself. The pool was excellent for my 2 daughters and I. No one there at all!

Spacious room. Small but full kitchen. Grill amenities not available the night we stayed. Loved the multi machine laundry room. Card operated $3 a load wash or dry. Unfortunately the dryers aren’t efficient. Took two cycles to dry lightweight tee shirts and shorts But still pleased to be able in a clean room Dog areas (all areas) are small rocks. Not a favorite

Older, but lovely hotel. The night staff was very professional. We stayed for 1 night with our 3 dogs. The area felt safe and the hotel was clean.

I received an upgrade to a suite with a balcony. But what turned out to be a balcony most people would call a patio as it was a first floor room.

Nice stay for Tucson. Not really loud even it is close to the airport. Clean, quiet friendly stuff. Breakfast is good.
